Jesus

Then
the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain where Jesus had

the soldiers led him away, they seized Simon from Cyrene, who was on
his way in from the country, and put the cross on him and made him

PALM SUNDAY
The
next day the large crowd that had come to the feast heard that Jesus
was coming to Jerusalem. So they took branches of palm trees and went

THE
PASCHAL LAMB
Lamb of God, or
Agnus Dei in Latin, is one of the titles given
to Jesus
in the New Testament, and refers to His role as a sacrificial lamb
atoning
for the sins of man. The
next day John the Baptist saw Jesus coming toward him and said,
"Behold,
the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world."

PILATE’S COURT
Then
they brought Jesus from Caiaphas to the Roman governor’s residence.
Pilate came outside to them and said, “What accusation do you bring
against this man?” Pilate went back into the governor’s residence,
summoned Jesus, and asked him, “Are you the king of the Jews?” Jesus
replied, “Are you saying this on your own initiative, or have others
said it to you about me? You say that I am a king. I have been born and
have come into the world for this reason: to testify to the truth.
